Speeding Driver From Prince William County Gets Second DUI In Four Months, Sheriff Says

A speeding stop landed a Prince William County man behind bars in Stafford for his second DUI in the past four months, according to the sheriff's office.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office arrested the Triangle man for his second DUI in four months.

Triangle native Jonathan Ulises Avila Susana, 37, found himself in a familiar spot late on Sunday night when he was stopped for speeding, but arrested for alleged intoxicated driving.

Shortly before midnight on Sept. 29, a deputy on patrol in the area of Richmond Highway and Port Aquia Drive going approximately 60 mph prompting a stop, leading to Susana's downfall.

According to a spokesperson from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, Susana showed signs of intoxication, and advised he did not have a driver's license, stemming from his previous DUI just months ago in May.

Susana admitted to drinking a "big" Corona and fruity cocktail before getting behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Sonic.

He was charged with driving under the influence second offense within five years, second offense driving without a license, and speeding.

Susana was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
